The 25th Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program

The 25th Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program will be a drive-thru event this year.
December 14, 2021
1:30p - 4:00p
Serrano High School front parking lot.

The Tri-Community Senior Citizens will be greeted by our HOSA, ASB, and other Serrano Students. They will enjoy being entertained by Serrano's Band, led by Matt Fell, and Serrano's Choir, led by Johnny Dolan.

Our wonderful Senior Citizens will receive a scrumptious turkey dinner with turkey, mash potatoes, gravy, veggies, rolls, and dessert. It will all be packaged up for them to take home. The food will be prepared and packaged by our wonderful Serrano Cafeteria Staff. We will also be gifting each senior citizen a beautiful red or white poinsettia and/or a pen made by our CTE Woodshop students and Mr. Davis.

I have attached the flyer. Please invite, and pass along the word to any Tri-Community Senior Citizen (55+). We would love to see them at Serrano High School on December 14, 2021, between the hours of 1:30p and 4:00p.

Dear Baldy Mesa Parents/Caregivers!

The following is an explanation as to why we participate in Caps for Kids!

Last year we participated in Caps for Kids to support and encourage our own Baldy Mesa Roadrunner Ian Arce who is undergoing chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Caps for Kids provides signed caps for children undergoing chemotherapy to let them know that they are not doing this alone!

Ian was super excited to get his signed cap by professional soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and we'd like to continue this support for other children.

You can support this wonderful organization, by donating $1 and wearing your cap in support of children everywhere this Friday, November 19th is our CAPS FOR KIDS DAY!

Hello, Baldy Mesa Families
I want to thank everyone for their patience regarding our pick-up and drop-off procedures. We are a large school, and we recognize that traffic has been challenging during both pick-up and drop-off. Currently, we are averaging about 500 cars per day in both the morning and afternoon. Given the vast number of cars and after listening to requests, we will open a new face-to-face gate.
Details are below, and we would like to thank everyone in advance for following these guidelines. Please know that we will continue to monitor our AM and PM procedures and make adjustments as needed.

*A NEW Face to Face Gate will be opened near the fourth and fifth-grade
areas starting Monday, August 23.
*To ensure safety, anyone who wishes to use the Face-to-Face Gate must park
in the auxiliary parking lot and cross in the coned-off area.
*For safety and efficiency, we ask that there is no foot traffic in the main Gate C
parking area during the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
*Please see the map below.
*When using the face-to-face gate, please have your curb-smart tag present.

Again, I would like to thank everyone for your patience, and please know that
we will continue to make adjustments to our pick-up and drop-off procedures
to honor both time and safety.
