Baldy Mesa Parents/Caregivers:

This is an application for the 24-25 After School Program at Baldy Mesa Elementary. To enroll your child, please fill out one form for each child. However, please note that submitting the application does not guarantee your child's enrollment in the program.

If your child is accepted into the program, you will receive a notification. You will need to sign and return the paperwork that you receive to secure your child’s spot in the program.

We are excited to announce that enrollment is now open for the upcoming 24-25 school year for NEW students.
We have scheduled enrollment dates with flexible timings to ensure that as many students as possible can pre-enroll.
Here are the dates and timings for your convenience:

May 6th-10th: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
May 13th -May 17th: 8:00 am-2:30 pm
And yes, enrollment will be open on Fridays, too!

On April 8, a partial solar eclipse will be visible in Southern California from 10:07 am to 12:24 pm.

Schools will use the event as a learning opportunity indoors to ensure student safety.

Safety tips include using approved eclipse glasses, solar filters for cameras, and indirect viewing methods.

● Do not look directly at the eclipse unless you have eclipse glasses that meet ISO 12312-2:2015
standards.
Regular sunglasses are not safe to use.

● Use proper solar filters on cameras and binoculars. Do not use homemade filters or other substitutes for eclipse glasses or handheld solar viewers.

● If you don't have approved eclipse glasses, consider using indirect viewing methods (such as a
pinhole projector) to observe the eclipse safely.

Please mark your calendars for our first Annual Community Resource Fair, which will be held after Saturday Academy on April 13th at Serrano High School's East Gym from 12 to 3 p.m.

This is our final parent event of the year, and we don't want you to miss it!

At the fair, you can expect to find a plethora of local resources and information on various topics such as food, housing, clothing, healthcare, mental health, recreation, community, emergency, and educational opportunities. In addition, the first 100 people will be provided with free lunch, and every vendor (32 and counting!) will be giving away free swag.

As an added incentive, families who participate will be entered to win many free prizes, ranging from a free spot at summer camp to gift cards and more.

We look forward to seeing you at the fair!
