Please join us this Saturday, October 1, 2022, to walk along with our school float in the Phelan Phun Days Parade.

We are especially looking for former Roadrunners who now have students attending Baldy Mesa.

The parade is scheduled from 9:00 to 10:00 AM; if interested, please meet us at Desert Community Bank on the corner of Johnson and Phelan Rd.

Save the date: SEPTEMBER 9, 2022 Grandparents' Picnic
Calling all 1st - 5th-grade grandparents!
Grab your favorite picnic blanket or folding chair and join us on campus to enjoy lunch with your grandchildren.

Meet up with your student by the stage at the beginning of their lunch period. Lunch period schedule is by grade:
1st grade 11:00am - 11:40am
2nd grade 11:20am - 12:00pm
3rd grade 11:40am - 12:20pm
4th grade 12:00pm - 12:40pm
5th grade 12:20pm - 1:00pm

*All visitors must check in through our main office with a valid photo I.D.

Taco plates are available for purchase(presale only) from a local community vendor from now until September 6. Each plate includes 3 tacos, rice & beans for $10. Due to limited time, taco plates will not be sold on the day of the event. Use the link for presale order:



Grandparents may bring their own picnic lunch or snacks. The cafeteria will continue to serve the scheduled lunch to students.

We are planning our Back-to-School Night on August 10, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.
This night is an opportunity to learn important information about your child's classroom experience.
Also on this night, your child’s teacher explains their goals for the class and for your child.

Hello, Baldy Mesa Families
I want to thank everyone for their patience regarding our pick-up and drop-off procedures. We are a large school, and we recognize that traffic has been challenging during both pick-up and drop-off. Currently, we are averaging about 500 cars per day in both the morning and afternoon. Given the vast number of cars and after listening to requests, we will open a new face-to-face gate.
Details are below, and we would like to thank everyone in advance for following these guidelines. Please know that we will continue to monitor our AM and PM procedures and make adjustments as needed.

*A NEW Face to Face Gate will be opened near the fourth and fifth-grade
areas starting Monday, August 23.
*To ensure safety, anyone who wishes to use the Face-to-Face Gate must park
in the auxiliary parking lot and cross in the coned-off area.
*For safety and efficiency, we ask that there is no foot traffic in the main Gate C
parking area during the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
*Please see the map below.
*When using the face-to-face gate, please have your curb-smart tag present.

Again, I would like to thank everyone for your patience, and please know that
we will continue to make adjustments to our pick-up and drop-off procedures
to honor both time and safety.
