2024-2025 YOUNG AUTHORS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Snowline School District has a writing contest called ‘Young Authors’.
It is a voluntary writing contest. Children may write narrative stories, poetry, or factual stories.
Our teachers and the Young Authors’ Committee will read and judge all stories.

All story submissions:
● Must be an original story from this school year,
2024-2025
● Should be edited and error-free
● Should be 10 or more pages in length, with illustrations (not necessary to be judged)
● If typed, please insert a 2-inch margin on the left side and a 1-inch margin on the top, right side, and bottom
● Write, type, or draw only on the front of the paper (leave the back blank)
● Number all pages
● Stories will be judged for creativity, craft, and
mechanics

El Distrito Escolar Snowline tiene un concurso de escritura llamado "Autores jóvenes".
Es un concurso de escritura voluntario. Los niños pueden escribir historias narrativas, poesía o historias fácticas.
Todas las historias serán leídas y evaluadas por nuestros profesores y el Comité de Autores Jóvenes.

Todas las presentaciones de historias:
● Debe ser una historia original de este año escolar,

● Debe tener 10 páginas o más, ilustraciones

● Si está escrito a maquina, por favor inserte un margen de 2 pulgadas al lado izquierdo, y un margen de 1 pulgada en la parte superior, en el lado derecho, y abajo
● Escriba, escriba a máquina o dibuje solo en el frente del papel (deje la parte de atrás en blanco)
